Our story
The Gilliard Foundation was established with a single goal: to invest in communities by providing resources and opportunities often out of reach for minority families. Inspired by our belief in ‘Knowledge Is Power,’ we dedicate ourselves to building stronger futures through financial literacy, youth education, and workforce training.
Leviticus Gilliard Sr. founded the organization out of a deep passion for helping those most in need, particularly at-risk youth and underserved families. Growing up in a single-parent household, Leviticus experienced firsthand the challenges faced by many minority communities. This personal journey fueled his desire to create an organization that not only provides immediate assistance but also equips individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve long-term success. His vision was to build a foundation that could be a catalyst for empowerment, offering a hand up rather than just a handout.
Join your hand with us for a better life and beautiful future.
